HiLook HL-NS-0326P-230(B) is a managed PoE switch with 24 Fast Ethernet ports and a power budget of 230 W for large-scale video surveillance systems. A 1000M SFP port provides an optical connection to the backbone network, while the long-distance transmission mode up to 250 meters allows covering extended sites without additional amplifiers. This is a solution for system integrators building large and multi-level security systems.

Advantages

  • 24 PoE 100M ports: power and data for a large fleet of IP cameras from a single point of management
  • PoE budget of 230 W: a high total power limit for the simultaneous operation of all cameras
  • SFP port 1000M: a gigabit optical connection to upstream equipment without signal degradation
  • Range up to 250 m: extended transmission reduces the cabling requirements on large sites
  • Managed L2 level: flexible configuration of VLAN, monitoring and traffic management
  • RJ45 port 1000M: an alternative copper uplink for sites without optical infrastructure

Applications

  • Large shopping centers, business parks and logistics complexes
  • Perimeter surveillance systems of extended territories: factories, airports, transport hubs
  • Multi-floor and multi-building sites with a centralized security system
  • Video surveillance projects with requirements for scaling and redundancy

Frequently asked questions

Is 230 W enough to power 24 cameras simultaneously?
It depends on the consumption of each camera; at an average draw of 7–9 W per device, the budget is enough to fully populate all ports with standard cameras.
Is remote management of the switch supported?
Yes, the managed device supports configuration via a web interface or console, which allows administering it remotely.
Can the switch be used in systems with IP cameras of different brands?
Yes, support for the PoE 802.3af/at standards ensures compatibility with the equipment of most manufacturers.
