The Tapo C236 pan-tilt Wi-Fi camera has two lenses: one watches the wide view, the other gives a close-up of the same scene. Panning through 360 degrees covers a whole room or yard with no blind spots, and full-color night capture keeps detail after dark.

Advantages

  • Two lenses: the wide view and the detail at once, without losing context
  • A 360-degree view from one camera instead of several fixed ones
  • Auto-tracking follows a moving object and keeps it in frame
  • Full-color night capture instead of a black-and-white silhouette
  • 3K resolution and recording to a memory card or the cloud

Applications

  • Sales floors of small shops
  • Yards and residential grounds
  • Offices, rooms and meeting rooms
  • Storage areas with a single monitoring position

Frequently asked questions

Does auto-tracking work at night?
Yes, with color night capture the camera continues to follow the object. In complete darkness a minimum of illumination is needed.
How much space does recording from two lenses take?
More than from one, so the memory card is bought with headroom. High-capacity microSD is supported.
Can the camera be installed outdoors?
The model can be installed in a position sheltered from direct precipitation. For open outdoor use it is better to choose a camera rated IP65 or higher.
