The Mercusys Halo H60X (2-pack) is a home Mesh system of the Wi-Fi 6 (AX1500) standard, providing seamless coverage over a large area without dead zones. The kit of two nodes (H60XR + H60XS) provides up to 1500 Mbit/s in total: 300 Mbit/s in the 2.4 GHz band and 1201 Mbit/s in the 5 GHz band. The solution is ideal for spacious apartments, private houses and small offices that require stable and fast Wi-Fi in every corner.
Advantages
- Wi-Fi 6 (AX1500): a modern standard with increased throughput and lower latency compared to Wi-Fi 5
- OFDMA and MU-MIMO technologies: simultaneous efficient operation with several devices without loss of speed
- Beamforming: a directed signal for a stable connection with each client
- BSS Color and TWT: reducing interference in a dense Wi-Fi environment and saving the battery charge of connected devices
- WPA3: modern encryption for reliable protection of the home network
- Gigabit Ethernet ports: the H60XR is equipped with three, the H60XS with two ports for wired connections
Applications
- Spacious apartments and private houses: eliminating dead zones and even coverage on all floors
- Small offices and coworking spaces: reliable Wi-Fi for employees and guests
- Premises with a complex layout: seamless roaming without reconnections when moving around
- Smart home: a stable foundation for a large number of IoT devices
Frequently asked questions
Can the network be expanded by adding a third or fourth node?
Yes, the Mercusys Halo system scales: additional compatible nodes can be added to the existing network through the Mercusys app.
How do the nodes connect to each other — by wire or over the air?
By default the nodes work over a wireless backhaul; if desired, they can be connected by an Ethernet cable through the built-in Gigabit ports for a more stable link.
Is it difficult to set up the Halo H60X Mesh system?
Setup is done through the Mercusys mobile app in a few minutes without technical knowledge; the app guides the user step by step.
