The Tapo T110 door and window sensor consists of two parts — the sensor and the magnet. As soon as the leaf opens, the signal goes through the hub to the app and triggers scenes: hallway light, camera siren, a notification to the whole family. Suitable for doors, windows, cabinets and even the fridge.

Will the sensor trigger if a window is opened for ventilation?
Yes, any separation of the magnetic pair is registered. Scenes for a ventilation mode are configured separately.
Does the adhesive base hold on plastic windows?
Yes, on a degreased surface it holds firmly. On uneven surfaces it is better to use additional fixing.
How many sensors can be connected to one hub?
The hub is rated for several dozen devices — for a flat or an office there is plenty of headroom.
