The MikroTik CCR2004-16G-2S+PC is a carrier-class router with passive cooling: 16 gigabit ports, two 10G SFP+ cages, a quad-core 1.7 GHz ARM64 and 4 GB of RAM. The PC letters mean no fans at all — the router runs silently and suits offices where rack noise is unwelcome.

How does the PC version differ from the regular CCR2004-16G-2S+?
Only in cooling: PC is fully passive, fanless. Performance and ports are identical; the trade-off is a slightly stricter operating temperature range.
Will it hold a full BGP view?
Yes — 4 GB of RAM fits full tables from several providers, making it one of the most affordable full-view platforms.
Can it be used as a switch?
The ports do work bridged, but architecturally it is a router: for pure L2 switching the CRS series is the better value.
