What's the difference between an electromagnetic lock and an electromechanical lock?

An electromagnetic lock holds the door with a magnet and requires constant power — standard for offices and entryways with video intercoms. An electromechanical lock secures with a bolt and stays locked without power.

What happens to the lock if the power goes out?

An electromagnetic lock will release (safe for evacuation), an electromechanical lock will remain locked. For critical doors, we install a UPS — the lock works for hours without mains power.

Can I install a smart lock on my front door?

Absolutely. Smart locks open with a code, card, fingerprint, or smartphone, maintain an access log, and let you issue temporary codes to guests. We'll select the model that fits your door perfectly.

Do locks integrate with video intercoms and access control systems?

Yes, the lock connects to your video intercom (unlock from your apartment or handset) and to your access control system — with full access logs and time-based permissions.
