Security systems for shops and retail chains

In retail a camera works not only for security but for resolving disputes and for discipline. The key points are the checkout zone, entrance and exit, sales floor, receiving and warehouse. At the checkout what matters is not a general view but a readable one: the camera is placed to show hands, goods and the monitor, and with POS integration the recording is captioned with the receipt text — then a dispute over a return or an unscanned item is settled in a minute, not an hour of archive scrubbing.

The warehouse part is covered separately: cameras at receiving and in the aisles, card-based access to service areas so only authorized staff reach the storeroom and warehouse. A shopping center adds the perimeter, parking with a barrier and plate recognition, a fire alarm with zone-by-zone announcements and systems for tenants. Visitor counters and heat maps feed the marketing team with flow data when that task is on the table.

We size and install a shop or mall end to end, including an archive of the right depth: retail usually keeps recordings longer than an office, because claims arrive late. We work in an operating store without stopping trade — noisy work moves to night or off-hours. After handover we maintain the system: we watch the recorder disk and the picture quality at the checkouts, where it matters most.
