A time and attendance system automatically records employee arrivals and departures by card, fingerprint or facial recognition and builds an accurate timesheet without manual counting. A manual timesheet always lies — not out of malice, but because paper tolerates it. "9:00" gets written for everyone who showed up before ten; evening overtime goes unrecorded; at month end HR spends days reconciling and arguing. A biometric terminal removes the trust question: time is captured at the moment of passage, clocking in for a colleague is impossible, and the timesheet assembles itself, always ready for an audit.

We match the identification method to the conditions. Facial recognition is the fastest and most hygienic option: an employee walks through without stopping, and the terminal tells a live face from a photo. Fingerprints are cheaper but struggle in workshops with dirty or dry hands. Cards work where biometrics is overkill, and for field crews and remote sites we set up mobile check-in with geolocation.

The real value is in the rules, not the hardware. We configure schedules and shifts, including night and rotating ones, lateness allowances, lunch breaks, business trips and vacations. The system itself calculates late arrivals, early departures, overtime and night hours according to your policy. A manager sees the day in real time — who is in, who is late, who is absent — instead of learning it from a monthly report.

Data must not sit in the terminal — it must reach payroll. We export timesheets to 1C and other ERP systems and set up reports by department, project and site. The terminal doubles as access control: one device opens the door and logs the time, no separate "timesheet turnstile" needed. With CCTV integration, a disputed record is verified against footage in seconds.

Deployment does not stop the business. The survey and calculation are free; terminal installation at an entrance takes a day; enrolling staff and configuring schedules takes one or two days, and for large headcounts we import the list from 1C or Excel. We train HR and managers to use the reports, and the administrator to enroll newcomers and remove leavers without calling a contractor.

The cost depends on the number of entry points, the identification method and the depth of ERP integration. We work with ZKTeco and Hikvision terminals from our Tashkent warehouse, warrant the hardware and the rollout, and support the system under contract. The payback math is simple: with a staff of fifty, even 10–15 minutes of worktime "lost" daily per employee costs more per year than the whole system.
