Description
The Hikvision DS-K1105EDKB-QR is an outdoor identification point for access control systems, combining an EM, Mifare and DESFire card reader, a PIN keypad, a QR code scanner and a Bluetooth module in a single housing. The device is designed for entrance groups, gates and driveways where several entry methods are needed at once. IP65 protection and a tamper sensor allow mounting it directly on a facade without extra canopies. The model suits both new ACS projects and upgrades of systems already in service.
On site, a single reader of this kind covers virtually every access scenario: employees pass with cards or a smartphone via Bluetooth, visitors use a temporary QR code, and a PIN serves as a backup or additional factor. The device talks to the controller over RS-485 with the OSDP protocol or over classic Wiegand 26/34, so it connects to an ACS from practically any manufacturer. The access logic — which identification method is allowed and in what combination — is defined on the controller side.
Advantages
- EM, Mifare and DESFire — support for all mainstream card formats
- PIN keypad for code entry and combined access modes
- QR code reading — convenient temporary passes for visitors
- Bluetooth identification from a smartphone without a physical card
- OSDP over RS-485 and Wiegand 26/34 — compatible with any ACS
- IP65 rating and tamper sensor — outdoor installation and anti-removal protection
Applications
- Entrance groups of offices and business centers
- Perimeter gates and checkpoints
- Parking lots, barriers and vehicle entrances
- Technical and server rooms
- Sites with guest access via temporary passes
Installation and setup
The reader is mounted next to a door or gate at a height convenient for presenting a card and scanning a QR code from a phone screen; the IP65 housing is unaffected by rain and dust. For new sites, RS-485 with OSDP is preferable: the bus provides encrypted exchange, line supervision and a longer reach than Wiegand. When integrating with an existing controller, the classic Wiegand 26/34 wiring is sufficient — the format is selected during setup. A typical door kit includes the reader, a door controller, an electromagnetic or electromechanical lock and an exit button. The equipment ships from our warehouse in Tashkent; we can help select a controller and carry out turnkey installation.
