Public Address and Voice Evacuation Systems, Turnkey
A public address system does two jobs: in normal mode, background music and zone announcements; in a fire, automatic voice evacuation (PA/VA). SAT Solutions designs and installs PA systems for malls, offices, schools, factories, hotels and restaurants — from a pair of speakers in a cafe to multi-zone complexes with priorities.
Why voice beats a siren: evacuation statistics show people ignore bells and sirens, taking them for a drill or a malfunction, but obey a calm voice that names the reason and the route. That is why codes for retail and crowded sites require voice evacuation specifically — and it must be intelligible in every corner, not merely loud.
The design starts with an acoustic calculation. Speaker power and count are derived from the area, ceiling height and background noise: what is perfectly audible in an office is lost on a shop floor next to machinery. Sales floors get ceiling speakers on an even grid, warehouses and outdoor areas get horns, restaurants get music-grade speakers with decent sound: background music should not sound like a railway station tannoy.
Zoning turns the system into a tool: music and promo announcements on the sales floor, staff calls in the warehouse, a quiet background in the offices, dedicated messages in the parking. A microphone console with zone selection lets the administrator address one zone or all at once; a schedule switches music on in the morning and off after closing, and promo spots play by timer.
Priorities are the heart of the system. Fire evacuation overrides everything: on a signal from the fire alarm the music stops and zones receive the voice evacuation message in the order set by the design — the fire floor first, then its neighbors. Amplifiers supervise line integrity: a broken speaker cable shows on the console long before the system is needed in earnest.
The PA system is commissioned together with the fire alarm as a voice evacuation system under Uzbekistan's codes: with a design, zone calculations, as-built documentation and intelligibility checks. We also modernise: replace burnt amplifiers, add zones, and move old 100V broadcast lines onto modern equipment without replacing the installed cable — 100V lines make that possible.
The cost depends on the area, the number of zones and the speaker class: background music for a cafe and voice evacuation for a mall are different budgets, and we show what goes into each. Installation carries a warranty; afterwards comes scheduled maintenance together with the fire alarm: line, amplifier and backup power checks. We work across Tashkent and all of Uzbekistan.
