System types

Conventional (non-addressable) systems are inexpensive and identify the triggered loop; they suit small sites. Addressable and analogue-addressable systems pinpoint the exact detector and monitor its health; they are required for large and critical buildings.

The choice depends on floor area, building purpose and design requirements.
