H3C Servers & Virtualization in Tashkent

Virtualization runs dozens of virtual servers on a few physical machines — saving hardware, electricity and administrator hours. SAT Solutions, an H3C partner in Uzbekistan, supplies servers and builds virtual platforms for enterprises, banks, government bodies and data centers: from a single hypervisor to a fault-tolerant cluster.

The typical "before" picture: six to eight machines of assorted age in the server room, each for its own task — ERP, files, mail, video archive. Half run at ten percent load but cannot be switched off; the failure of any one means a service outage until repair. After consolidation the same workloads live as virtual machines on two or three modern nodes: the load is levelled, and the "old accounting server" moves to new hardware wholesale without noticing the move.

The main argument is fault tolerance. In a cluster of two or three nodes with shared storage, the failure of any server stops being an emergency: virtual machines restart automatically on neighboring nodes within minutes. Planned maintenance no longer needs night windows — machines migrate between nodes live, with no service interruption.

We build platforms on H3C UniServer hardware — and as an H3C partner we close the whole chain: official supply with the manufacturer's warranty, configuration sized for the calculated load, storage and networking, hypervisor deployment, administrator training. Resources are sized with N+1 headroom: the cluster must survive a node failure at peak hour, not only in the presentation.

Backup is designed as a separate circuit, because RAID and clustering do not save you from ransomware or human error. We schedule VM backups, store them on separate storage or in another building, and — most importantly — test restores regularly: a backup nobody has ever restored from does not count as a backup.

Migration from the existing fleet happens without stopping the business: physical servers become virtual machines (P2V) one at a time, in agreed windows, with a rollback point. The old hardware becomes a test environment or a spare after the move. We also virtualize the tricky cases: ERP with hardware dongles, video servers, telephony.

The project cost depends on the number of nodes, storage volume and fault-tolerance requirements — after a free audit of your current infrastructure we present two or three options with the differences made clear. Then come the warranty, service contracts with response times, and platform support. We work across Tashkent and all of Uzbekistan.
