The H3C UniServer R4300 G6 storage server is a rack platform with a large number of 3.5-inch drive bays and NVMe support. Up to two Intel Xeon Scalable processors and up to 32 DDR5 modules totalling up to 8 TB. It is intended for high-capacity tasks: backup, video archive, file and object storage.

How much video archive will fit?
It depends on the number of cameras, resolution and retention period. We calculate capacity from the actual composition of the CCTV system.
Why is this server better than a ready-made SAN?
It combines storage with compute and costs less. A dedicated SAN wins at very large volumes and with strict resilience requirements.
Which RAID level should I choose?
For a video archive schemes with double parity are usually chosen — they survive the failure of two drives on a large array.
