The Bolid S2000R-OST version 01 "Exit" illuminated sign works over radio and requires no cabling. It is used in finished interiors, listed buildings and rented premises where cutting into walls is not allowed or not worthwhile. The sign indicates the escape direction, and the panel monitors battery charge and the radio link.

Advantages

  • Installation with no cabling — finished decoration is not disturbed
  • Suits sites with restrictions on building work
  • The panel monitors battery charge and the link to the sign
  • Indicates the escape direction and stays visible in smoke
  • Works within the wireless S2000R system

Applications

  • Rooms with expensive finished decoration
  • Listed buildings and historic premises
  • Rented space where chasing walls is prohibited
  • Sites where the system is installed after the refurbishment

Frequently asked questions

How reliable is a radio link in an alarm system?
The panel continuously monitors the link and reports its loss, so a fault does not go unnoticed.
How often do the batteries need changing?
The life is stated in the datasheet, and the panel warns of a low charge in advance. Replacement is part of maintenance.
Can wired and wireless signs be mixed?
Yes, both types are used in one system: wired where cable already exists, wireless in problem areas.
