How an attendance system works
A terminal goes at the entrance: an employee or pupil checks in by face (Face ID), fingerprint or card. The system logs arrival and departure times automatically, flags lateness and builds the timesheet itself.
The difference from a paper log is fundamental: nobody can check in for someone else — a face or a fingerprint cannot be handed over — and the report exports in one click.
For schools and learning centres
In schools attendance ties into parent notifications: the child enters the school — a message arrives on the parent's phone. Many private schools install the system for this feature alone.
Learning centres track attendance by group and can link it to payments: attended lessons are counted automatically.
For offices and manufacturing
In an office attendance merges with time tracking: lateness, overtime, timesheet export to 1C. Paired with a turnstile it also covers access control.
Factories need shift schedules, night shifts and hundreds of staff — ZKTeco and Hikvision terminals pass several people per second.
What it costs
The easiest way to cost it is by terminal. The most affordable is the Hikvision DS-K1T809MWX at 432 900 UZS (card and PIN); with a fingerprint reader the DS-K1T805MX is 741 900 UZS and the DS-K1T804EF 791 900 UZS. Face recognition: the ZKTeco SenseFace 2A (face, fingerprint and card) at 877 900 UZS, the Hikvision DS-K1T343MX at 1 050 900 UZS, the DS-K1T343EWX at 1 149 900 UZS and the ZKTeco EFace10 at 1 261 900 UZS. For a small single-entrance office that is the bulk of the budget; for a school or a factory the price grows with the number of entrances, and a turnstile adds 4 330 900 UZS per lane. The engineer's visit and the estimate are free. We supply the terminals ourselves, installation usually takes a day, and the 1C integration is configured separately. If card access is needed as well, add a reader from 145 900 UZS and Mifare cards at 7 390 UZS each.

The data's route: from terminal to payroll
Attendance shows its value when data reaches payroll: timesheet export to the ERP removes manual transfer and errors, and per-department reports show lateness and overtime for any period. The manager sees the day in real time, not at month end.
We configure the rules to your policy — schedules, shifts, lateness allowances — and train the administrator to enroll new employees independently. Deployment takes a couple of days and does not stop the business.
When the terminal fails to recognise
Most complaints about attendance systems are not about the software but about recognition. On a shop floor a fingerprint fails because of worn skin, dust and traces of oil; a card or a face reader is more reliable there. A face terminal should not be mounted facing a window: morning backlight blinds the camera.
Registering two fingers per person and re-enrolling the template once a year for problem employees helps. During the site survey SAT Solutions checks the lighting at the passage point and the mounting height — those two details remove most of the support calls in the first month.
