Lock types and price ranges
Electronic locks come in four main types. Electromagnetic — the most affordable, for office and entrance doors: the 180 kg KANIHAD ML-180AS at 147 900 UZS, the 280 kg ML-280AS at 184 900 UZS, the ML-380A at 246 900 UZS and the 500 kg ML-500A at 494 900 UZS; it also needs an exit button (110 900 UZS) and a closer (246 900 UZS for the ML-S203, 370 900 UZS for the ML-S505 rated to 100 kg). Electromechanical — for gates and outdoor doors, stays locked in a blackout. Coded opens from a keypad, smart — by phone, fingerprint or card. For a flat: a smart lock
Flats usually get a smart lock: forgotten keys stop being a problem — you open by phone or fingerprint. Guests get temporary codes, and every opening sends a notification.
Door type matters: not every lock fits every door. Our engineer inspects the door and recommends a matching model — the visit is free.
For an office: lock + access control
In an office a lock connects to access control: staff enter by card or fingerprint, the log records who came and when. An employee leaves — access is revoked in one click.
Paired with an intercom the lock opens from the monitor or the app. Where a fire alarm exists, escape doors must release on alarm — we always configure this.
What installation costs
Installation depends on the door and lock type: an electromagnetic lock with an exit button is the simplest job; a smart lock or biometrics with setup costs a bit more. On average installation starts from a few hundred thousand UZS.

Power, and what happens in a blackout
The key question for an electronic lock is its behavior without electricity. A magnetic lock opens when power drops: good for evacuation, bad for protection — so it is paired with a backup power unit with a battery. An electromechanical lock, on the contrary, stays locked — and opens with a mechanical key.
Smart locks have their own power routine, and it depends on the model. Some run on replaceable cells, others on a removable lithium pack: the Tapo DL105, for instance, is powered by the Tapo A110 battery, which charges over Type-C and comes out of the lock while it charges. A charge lasts months, the lock warns of a low level in advance, and for the worst case there is an emergency key and an external contact for feeding power from outside. An electromagnetic one opens, an electromechanical one stays locked. Doors that must stay locked get electromechanics or a UPS.
