For a flat: a smart lock
Flats usually get a smart lock: forgotten keys stop being a problem — you open by phone or fingerprint. Guests get temporary codes, and every opening sends a notification.

For an office: lock + access control
In an office a lock connects to access control: staff enter by card or fingerprint, the log records who came and when. An employee leaves — access is revoked in one click.
