Hikvision DS-2CD2643G2-IZS is a 4-megapixel bullet IP camera with a 2.8–12 mm varifocal lens, EXIR illumination up to 60 meters, and interfaces for connecting audio and alarm sensors. The motorized zoom makes it possible to remotely adjust the field of view without physical access to the camera. A microSD slot provides local backup of the recording in case of loss of connection with the server. The camera is intended for large sites with an extended perimeter, where it is necessary to flexibly change the field of view and cover large distances.

How does recording to microSD work when the network drops?

When the connection with the NVR is lost, the camera automatically switches to recording to the microSD slot, preserving the archive until the connection is restored.
