The Hikvision DS-2CD2T43G2-2I is a bullet IP camera with a resolution of 4 MP (2688×1520) and powerful IR illumination up to 60 m for round-the-clock surveillance on the perimeter and indoors. The 1/3" Progressive Scan CMOS sensor paired with a sensitivity of 0.005 Lux provides a high-quality color image in minimal lighting conditions, and in complete darkness the IR mode is automatically activated. Support for the H.265+ codec reduces the load on the network and the archive while maintaining high video quality.

IR illumination up to 60 m provides illumination of the zone, however the actual range of face identification depends on the field of view of the lens — at a 4 mm focus, approximately 15–25 m.

How does the camera transition between color and IR modes?

The switch occurs automatically through the built-in ICR IR filter depending on the level of illumination in the frame.

Does the camera support built-in video analytics?
