Mini cable rod (fish tape) on a fiberglass rod 6.0 mm in diameter and 10 meters long in a compact coil — an indispensable tool for installers of low-voltage and electrical systems. A mini fish tape on a fiberglass rod is designed for low-voltage and light cables — for heavy power lines it is better to use a steel cable or a larger-diameter rod.
Is the rod suitable for routes with sharp 90-degree bends?
The fiberglass rod is flexible enough to pass standard bends, however very sharp angles may require the use of guides or auxiliary attachments.
How should the fish tape be stored properly after work?
Wind the rod into a coil without kinks and store it in a dry place protected from direct sunlight — this will extend the service life of the fiberglass rod.
