Pixietech mini cable rod (fish tape) on a fiberglass rod 6.0 mm in diameter and 30 meters long — a reliable choice for installers working on sites with long cable routes. Thirty meters of travel allows cable to be pulled through inter-floor spaces, long corridors and technical cavities without splicing sections. The fiberglass rod in a coil remains convenient to work with and does not take up much space in a tool bag.
Advantages
- 30 meters of rod cover long horizontal and vertical routes at large sites without additional connections
- The 6.0 mm diameter combines sufficient rigidity for pushing with flexibility for passing bends
- The fiberglass does not conduct current, which makes working in mixed cable routes safe
- The rod in a coil unwinds and rewinds easily without twisting
- Suitable for laying in corrugated tubing, plastic and metal pipes of various diameters
- Optimal for crews performing several cable runs in a single site visit
Applications
- Pulling video surveillance cables and structured cabling systems in large commercial buildings
- Installing security and fire alarm systems with long cable routes
- Laying low-voltage lines during the construction of residential complexes and business centers
- Cable-laying work in industrial facilities and warehouses in Uzbekistan
- Inter-floor routing of cables for access control and intercom systems
Frequently asked questions
Is it convenient to work with a 30-meter coil alone?
Yes, the coil is light enough to be handled by a single installer, however when pulling to the full length it is recommended to work as a pair to control the slack of the rod.
How do you tell that the rod has reached the end of the route?
By the decrease in resistance during advancement and visually — the end of the rod enters or exits the opening; marks can be made on the rod with a marker.
Can this fish tape be used for vertical downward pulling?
Yes, the fiberglass rod works well in vertical routes both upward and downward thanks to its rigidity and weight.
