How to choose

• ✓Bracket type and load. Ceiling and wall cameras require brackets with the appropriate weight rating and reach. Outdoor models must be made of anti-corrosion materials and withstand wind loads.
• ✓Holding force of the electromagnetic lock. For residential doors, 180-280 kg is sufficient. For evacuation and entrance groups at industrial sites, locks of 500 kg and higher are needed. Silent models are preferable for offices and hotels.
• ✓Capacity and form factor of the server cabinet. The number of units is determined by the number of installed devices. The cabinet depth (450 or 600 mm) is selected to match the size of the active equipment — switches, NVRs, patch panels.
• ✓UPS power and autonomy. The uninterruptible power supply must ensure the operation of connected equipment for at least 30-60 minutes during a power outage. The charge current and battery capacity are selected to match the total load.
• ✓Cable routing type. For neat cable laying, choose clips and ties by cable diameter. Plastic ties are suitable for indoor work; for outdoors and aggressive environments, stainless or heat-resistant options are needed.
• ✓Compatibility of the exit button with the ACS controller. EXIT buttons differ by contact type (normally open/normally closed), mounting method (surface-mounted, flush-mounted, in the S86 standard) and enclosure material. Make sure of compatibility with your access control system.
• ✓Presence of 4G redundancy. If the main communication channel is unstable, a 4G modem (for example, the CPE series) will provide a backup channel for remote monitoring of video surveillance and system control.
