The Ruijie RG-E-130(GE) PoE injector is a compact single-port Power-over-Ethernet adapter of the PoE+ (802.3at) standard. The device makes it possible to deliver power to IP cameras, access points and other network devices over a standard twisted-pair cable without laying a separate power cable. The 1000Base-T gigabit port provides a high-speed connection without loss of throughput.

Advantages

  • Simplified installation — power and data over a single cable, no separate power source needed at the device
  • PoE+ (802.3at) standard — increased power for powering cameras with heaters, access points and IP phones
  • Gigabit port — full 1000 Mbit/s speed without bottlenecks in the network
  • Compatibility with Ruijie and third-party equipment — works with any 802.3at-compatible device
  • Compact housing — convenient for rack or wall mounting next to the powered equipment
  • Brand reliability — Ruijie manufactures professional network equipment for corporate installations

Applications

  • Video surveillance systems — connecting IP cameras in places without power sockets
  • Wireless networks — powering Wi-Fi access points under the ceiling or on facades
  • IP telephony — connecting telephone sets without a separate power supply
  • Industrial facilities and warehouses — rapid expansion of network infrastructure
  • Small offices in Tashkent — when a switch without PoE is already installed, but power for a new device needs to be added at a specific point

Frequently asked questions

Can the RG-E-130(GE) be used with a switch without PoE?
Yes, this is exactly what the injector is designed for: it adds power to the line between an ordinary switch and a PoE device.
Does the injector support the 802.3af standard?
The device operates according to the PoE+ (802.3at) standard, which is backward compatible with 802.3af, so any PoE-compatible devices can be connected.
What is the maximum cable length from the injector to the device?
The Ethernet standard allows a segment length of up to 100 meters over a Category 5e or higher cable.
