The Hikvision DS-1278ZJ-HWB/HG bracket is rated for heavy equipment: high-speed PTZ cameras, box models with a large lens and thermal housings. The reinforced construction and hot-dip galvanising withstand wind loading and stop the camera swaying on the pole. The clamps take a post from 60 to 300 mm and the cable runs inside.

Advantages

  • Reinforced construction for the weight of PTZ cameras and thermal housings
  • Hot-dip galvanising gives better corrosion resistance than ordinary paint
  • The rigidity of the mount removes swaying — the picture does not shake in the wind
  • A 60–300 mm pole range with increased load capacity
  • Internal cable routing and compatibility with Hikvision brackets

Applications

  • PTZ cameras on tall masts and poles
  • Traffic monitoring cameras in thermal housings
  • Perimeters of sites in windy areas
  • Road and highway projects

Frequently asked questions

Why a reinforced mount if the camera is not heavy?
It is not only about weight: a PTZ camera creates a dynamic load as it moves, and the wind area of a housing increases swaying in the wind.
Why is hot-dip galvanising better than paint?
Zinc protects the metal even where it is scratched, whereas chipped paint opens the way to corrosion.
Will the mount fit cameras of other brands?
The mounting plate is standard, but compatibility is best checked against the specific model — tell us which one and we will advise.
