The CW-2000VA uninterruptible power supply solves two problems. The first is not losing recordings and not crashing equipment during a power cut: the recorder, switch and router keep working. The second, no less important in our conditions, is stabilisation: the built-in AVR evens out the sags and surges that destroy camera power supplies.

Frequently asked questions
Why is stabilisation needed if there is a battery?
Voltage sags happen constantly without a full outage. Without an AVR the battery would discharge on every fluctuation and the equipment would run on poor power.
How long will the UPS last during an outage?
It depends on the load. We calculate the backup time from the actual equipment list.
Can cameras be connected directly?
Cameras are powered from the PoE switch, so the switch itself and the recorder are connected to the UPS.
