Rubezh IP 101-29-PR heat fire detector with W1.02 base mount is an addressable-analog device of the rate-of-rise/fixed-temperature type for early detection of fires by temperature increase in enclosed rooms. The device responds both to reaching a critical threshold temperature value and to its rate of rise, which allows detecting the hazard at an early stage. The W1.02 base mount simplifies installation and replacement of the detector during maintenance.
Advantages
- The rate-of-rise/fixed-temperature operating principle ensures early detection of both slow and rapid temperature rise
- The addressable-analog mode allows the system to receive continuous temperature data rather than just a discrete alarm signal
- The W1.02 base mount facilitates ceiling installation and quick detector replacement without tools
- High measurement accuracy reduces the likelihood of false alarms under normal operating conditions
- The compact housing does not disrupt the aesthetics of administrative and commercial room interiors
- Compatibility with Rubezh equipment ensures unified integration into the facility's security system
Applications
- Production rooms and shops where possible smoke makes the use of smoke detectors difficult
- Garages, parking lots and utility rooms with temperature fluctuations
- Kitchens, laundries and auxiliary rooms of catering facilities and hotels
- Archives, server rooms and warehouses with high fire load
- Enclosed technological compartments and ventilation ducts
Frequently asked questions
What is the advantage of the rate-of-rise/fixed-temperature type over the fixed-temperature one?
A fixed-temperature detector triggers only when the set temperature threshold is reached, whereas the rate-of-rise/fixed-temperature type additionally responds to rapid temperature rise — this allows detecting a fire sooner.
Is this detector suitable for rooms with dust and steam?
The thermal operating principle makes it less sensitive to dustiness and steam compared to smoke detectors, which broadens its scope of application.
Can the device be used without the W1.02 base mount?
The base mount is part of the kit and is necessary for installation; check the configuration when ordering from SAT Solutions.
