The Dahua DHI-HY-1462 addressable repeater module extends the length of an addressable loop and restores signal level. On large sites the line length is limited by cable resistance: beyond a certain point detectors stop answering the panel reliably. The repeater removes that limit, letting the loop run further without pulling a separate line from the panel.
