The Hikvision DS-KAB673-FBQR reader module extends the capabilities of 673 series access terminals: face recognition is joined by QR passes for guests, Bluetooth opening from an employee's smartphone and card reading. The module is installed together with the terminal and works with it over a shared bus.

Through the access management system: the code is generated for a specific time and visitor, and stops working once it expires.

For Bluetooth opening, yes — a mobile app is required. A QR pass works without installing anything.
Can the module be added to a terminal already in service?
Yes, if the terminal is a 673 series. It is installed in a common block with the terminal.
