The Hikvision DS-KV6124-E1 door station has a backlit numeric keypad: a visitor dials the flat number and the resident answers from a monitor or phone. Permanent residents enter by code or Mifare card, so keys are unnecessary. A wide-angle camera shows the whole area in front of the door and the vandal-resistant housing stands up to outdoor installation.

Can a temporary code be issued to a courier?
Code logic is configured during commissioning. For regularly issuing temporary passes, panels supporting QR codes are more convenient.
What if a resident forgets their card?
Entry by code and calling neighbors or the concierge remain available. Sites usually combine both methods for exactly this case.
How is the keypad protected from wear?
The housing is vandal-resistant and the keys are rated for intensive use. In high-traffic entrance halls this noticeably extends service life.
