Ruijie RG-RAP1200(F) is a wall-mounted dual-band AC1300 access point, designed for economical deployment of a wireless network in hotels, apartments and office corridors. A speed of 867 Mbit/s at 5 GHz and 400 Mbit/s at 2.4 GHz in a compact wall enclosure provides quality Wi-Fi where ceiling mounting is inconvenient. Low consumption of up to 8 W makes the device economical when deployed on the scale of entire floors or buildings.
Advantages
- The wall form factor is ideal for mounting in corridors, rooms and small offices instead of standard sockets
- The total AC1300 speed provides sufficient throughput for most business tasks
- Two bands 2.4/5 GHz allow client devices to be distributed across frequencies to reduce interference
- Low consumption of up to 8 W reduces the load on the PoE switch and saves electricity
- Built-in antennas provide a neat appearance without protruding elements
- 2×2 MIMO support increases connection stability when several clients are working
Applications
- Hotels and hostels: a Wi-Fi point in every room with convenient wall mounting
- Office corridors and offices: coverage of workplaces without ceiling mounting
- Medical clinics: Wi-Fi in offices and corridors without ceiling renovation
- Administrative buildings: floor-by-floor coverage with a minimal number of devices
- Apartments and serviced flats: an individual point for each guest
Frequently asked questions
How does a wall access point differ from a ceiling one in terms of application?
Wall points are mounted instead of or next to a socket in rooms and offices, providing local coverage without complex ceiling mounting.
Does the RG-RAP1200(F) support centralized management?
Yes, the device is managed via the Ruijie Cloud platform, which allows all access points of a site to be administered from a single interface.
How is the access point powered?
The device is powered via PoE over the uplink port; an additional power source is not required if a PoE switch is available.
