Ruijie RG-RAP2200(F) is an AC1300 ceiling-mounted access point for building corporate indoor wireless networks. The model supports two bands: 867 Mbit/s in the 5 GHz band and 400 Mbit/s in the 2.4 GHz band, for a total of up to 1300 Mbit/s. Its compact design with built-in antennas and low power consumption make the RG-RAP2200(F) a practical choice for offices, hotels and educational institutions that need a reliable Wi-Fi infrastructure without excessive costs.
Advantages
- AC1300 dual-band operation offloads the 2.4 GHz band and reduces mutual interference between clients
- 2×2 MIMO technology (802.11ac Wave1/Wave2) increases connection stability under high load
- Two Fast Ethernet uplink ports provide flexibility when connecting to existing cabling infrastructure
- Built-in omnidirectional antennas form even indoor coverage without protruding elements
- Backward compatibility with 802.11a/b/g/n standards allows connecting any client devices
- Consumption of less than 13 W makes it possible to use PoE power without additional power supplies
Applications
- Small and medium offices that need a managed corporate Wi-Fi network
- Hotel rooms and common areas requiring ceiling mounting
- Classrooms and lecture halls with moderate connection density
- Meeting rooms and coworking spaces with video conferencing and cloud services
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the RG-RAP2200(F) and the RG-RAP2200(E) model?
The main difference is the uplink ports: the (F) model is equipped with 10/100 Mbit/s ports, whereas the (E) model has gigabit 10/100/1000 ports.
Is a separate controller required for the access point to work?
The access point supports standalone mode, and when management of several APs is needed it connects to a Ruijie controller or the Reyee cloud platform.
Can the access point be installed independently?
Physically the mounting is not complicated, however to correctly design coverage and configure corporate functions it is recommended to involve a certified specialist.
