TP-Link POE150S — a gigabit PoE injector of the Omada series, compliant with the 802.3af standard, for connecting IP cameras, VoIP phones and access points without replacing the switch. The device transmits data and power over a single Ethernet cable at a distance of up to 100 meters. Compatibility with the industrial standard 802.3af guarantees correct operation with all certified PoE devices.

Advantages

  • The 802.3af standard provides safe automatic power negotiation — the device on the other end receives exactly as much energy as it requested
  • A range of up to 100 meters over twisted pair allows covering large areas without additional switches
  • Gigabit ports do not limit the speed of video or data transmission
  • Compatible with any PoE 802.3af devices regardless of the manufacturer
  • The compact plastic enclosure is easy to hide behind equipment or in a tray

Applications

  • 802.3af video surveillance IP cameras: offices, shops, warehouses, residential complexes
  • VoIP phones and door intercoms with PoE support
  • Wireless access points of the 802.3af standard in zones without a PoE switch
  • Quick launch of security systems with a limited infrastructure budget

Frequently asked questions

Is there a difference between POE150S and the passive injectors POE2412G/POE4818G?
Yes, POE150S operates according to the 802.3af standard with automatic negotiation, which is safer — the risk of equipment damage is eliminated with correct selection.
What maximum consumption current does the injector support?
The 802.3af standard limits power to 15.4 W per port; check the consumption of your device before purchase.
Can the injector be used with PoE+ (802.3at) equipment?
802.3at devices work through an 802.3af injector only in reduced power mode; for full PoE+ power, use an appropriate injector.
