- Corridors, lobbies and escape routes
- Hotel rooms and public spaces
- Facilities with accessibility requirements
Frequently asked questions
Can the alarm be sounded selectively rather than building-wide?
Yes, addressing allows the alarm to run by zone — for example, first on the fire floor and the floors adjacent to it, following the evacuation plan.
How is a sounder's health checked?
The panel supervises the device and its line, and scheduled tests are also part of the maintenance routine.
Will the volume be enough for a large room?
The number and layout of sounders are calculated from the area and background noise level — the calculation is part of the design.
