Frequently asked questions
Why is a wide beam better over a short distance?
A narrow-beam antenna demands precise aiming and rigid mounting: a swaying mast moves the beam and drops the link. Below a kilometre the power margin is already generous, and a wide sector makes the connection more stable.
Can this model be paired with a WBK5-30AC-05P?
Technically they share a band and are compatible, but the series ships as pairs configured for each other. Mixing models makes sense only when replacing one unit of an existing pair.
Do I need a PoE injector?
Everything needed for power over twisted pair is included. If the site already has a PoE switch, the bridge can be plugged straight into it.
