MikroTik RB5009UPr+S+OUT

RB5009UPr+S+OUT is the outdoor version of the powerful RB5009 router: eight gigabit PoE-out ports, an SFP+ port at 10 Gbps and USB 3.0, all in a sealed case for outdoor mounting.

The point of the design is to move the node closer to the devices: put it on a mast, a building wall or a pole and feed cameras and access points over PoE from there, without building a separate equipment room. The extended power budget covers even demanding devices.

The CPU is a serious one: routing, firewall, VPN and queues run without sagging under real load. The SFP+ port gives a ten-gigabit fiber uplink, so the node on the mast does not become the bottleneck.
