Description
This passive DAC cable with integrated SFP+ modules connects switches, servers and storage systems at 10 Gbps. The 3-meter length is meant for linking equipment in adjacent racks, where an assembly of two transceivers and a patch cord is overkill. The ready-made copper link costs less than an optical kit, offers lower latency and reduces port power consumption — across dozens of links in a server room the savings become tangible.
The cable is plug-and-play: the SFP+ port is standardized, so the assembly is recognized by equipment from major vendors — Hikvision, MikroTik, Cisco, HP and others. In a server room, DAC links cover server uplinks, storage connections and switch interconnects, freeing the transceiver budget for long optical runs. The cable is in stock at our Tashkent warehouse along with the rest of the server room accessories.

Mounting and connection
When routing, keep to the copper assembly's minimum bend radius and never cinch cable ties tight — the cable is sensitive to crushing. Run the route through vertical and horizontal cable organizers so the assembly does not hang on the connectors. SFP+ modules are inserted into the ports until the latch clicks; pull the cable out by the module's tab, not by the cord. Inside a single rack the 1-meter version is handier, while for distances over 5 m you switch to optics with transceivers. 10G ports accept the cable with no extra configuration — the link comes up immediately.
