The SNR-FLT-1550 optical filter-consolidator is designed for separating signals of different wavelengths in a single optical fiber: it passes the CATV television signal at a wavelength of 1550 nm through the SC/APC port, while simultaneously enabling data transmission at wavelengths of 1310/1490 nm through the SC/UPC port. The device is used in hybrid PON networks where both internet and cable television run over a single fiber. A pigtail 1.0 m long in a 3.0 mm jacket provides convenient placement in boxes and closures.
