Ruijie RG-NBS3100-8GT2SFP-P is a managed L2+ switch in a compact metal desktop housing, designed for powering IP cameras, access points and IP phones via PoE/PoE+ technology. Eight gigabit RJ45 ports with PoE support provide a total power budget of 125 W, and two SFP slots allow connecting the switch to the upstream network via fiber or gigabit uplink. The solution is ideal for small offices, shops and small security facilities where reliable network management is required without rack mounting.

Advantages

  • PoE/PoE+ power on all 8 ports — no separate power adapters needed for cameras and access points
  • 125 W PoE budget — enough for simultaneous connection of several IP devices
  • L2+ management — support for VLAN, QoS and monitoring, which simplifies traffic segmentation and prioritization
  • 2 SFP slots — flexible connection to the backbone network via fiber or copper
  • Metal housing — high reliability and heat dissipation during round-the-clock operation
  • Desktop design — quick installation without a server rack

Applications

  • Small video surveillance systems: powering and managing IP cameras through a single switch
  • Small offices and retail outlets: network infrastructure with centralized management
  • Hotels and apartments: powering Wi-Fi access points via PoE
  • Cash registers and POS terminals: reliable gigabit connection with minimal latency
