Managed L2+

Ruijie RG-NBS3300-8MG2XS-P is a compact managed multi-gigabit L2+ switch with 8 working ports and two SFP+ uplinks. The built-in power supply supports a voltage of 100–240 V AC, consumption without PoE is less than 27 W, and at full PoE load — up to 278 W. The device is designed for small installations that require speeds above gigabit — for example, for Wi-Fi 6 access points or high-performance IP cameras. Compactness and a built-in power supply make it convenient for floor node cabinets.

Advantages

  • Multi-gigabit ports — speeds of 2.5/5 Gbit/s over existing Cat5e/Cat6 cables
  • PoE budget up to 278 W — enough to power several Wi-Fi 6 access points and IP cameras simultaneously
  • 2 SFP+ uplinks — high-speed connection to an aggregation switch
  • L2+ management — VLAN, QoS and monitoring for professional network configuration
  • Built-in AC power supply — a compact ready-made solution without external units
  • Low consumption without load (less than 27 W) — saving electricity during off-hours

Applications

  • Floor nodes in offices: powering and switching of Wi-Fi 6 access points
  • Small video surveillance systems: PoE powering of high-quality IP cameras
  • Conference and meeting rooms: infrastructure for multimedia equipment with PoE
  • Shops and cafes: reliable Wi-Fi for customers with modern access points

Frequently asked questions

Is the switch suitable for connecting Wi-Fi 6 access points?
Yes, the multi-gigabit ports and sufficient PoE budget make it designed for Wi-Fi 6 access points that require speeds above 1 Gbit/s and PoE+ power.
Is an external PoE injector or power supply needed?
No, the power supply is built into the switch and supports the standard mains voltage of 100–240 V AC.
Can the SFP+ ports be used for connecting to an optical backbone?
Yes, the SFP+ slots support both copper DAC cables and optical transceivers for connection over any distance.
