Wi-Tek WK-R1200 is a multifunctional wireless router and repeater of the 802.11ac standard with a total speed of 1200 Mbit/s and four operating modes. Thanks to four 5 dBi antennas and 2×2 MIMO technology, the device confidently amplifies the Wi-Fi signal and creates coverage over significant areas. Three 100 Mbit/s LAN ports make it possible to simultaneously connect wired devices without sacrificing wireless performance.

Does the WK-R1200 support operation in WISP mode for connecting to a third-party Wi-Fi provider?

Yes, WISP mode allows receiving a signal from an external access point and distributing it over the local network as a full-fledged router.

Is a speed of 100 Mbit/s on the LAN ports sufficient for video surveillance?

For most IP cameras of standard resolution, 100 Mbit/s is quite sufficient; if 4K cameras with a high bitrate are used, it is recommended to choose a model with gigabit ports.
