Load current
Up to 2 A per output

The Bolid S2000-KPB control and start unit activates the actuating devices of fire automation: powder and gas extinguishing modules, visual and audible sounders, valve actuators. Six outputs are monitored for open and short circuit, so a fault in the release circuit is found in advance rather than at the moment of a fire.

Advantages

  • Circuit monitoring for open and short circuit: a fault is visible before the release is needed
  • Six independent outputs with a load current up to 2 A
  • Control of different types of automation: extinguishing, alarm, valves
  • Operation within the Orion system with common logic and an event log
  • Programmable release scenarios by zone

Applications

  • Powder and gas fire extinguishing installations
  • Alarm and evacuation management systems
  • Control of fire dampers and shutters
  • Sites where automation must physically start equipment

Frequently asked questions

Can a heavy load be connected directly?
A current of up to 2 A per output is rated for release circuits. Powerful equipment is connected through intermediate contactors.
What does circuit monitoring give you?
Without monitoring, a broken wire to an extinguishing module would only be found during a fire. Here the fault reaches the panel immediately.
How many units does a site need?
According to the number of controlled devices and zones. Designers calculate it from the automation diagram.
