The Dahua DHI-HY-1301-CTXF addressable smoke detector is the workhorse of an HY-series fire alarm system. It senses smoke optically, meaning at the earliest stage, when there is no open flame yet but a smouldering source is already releasing combustion products. Each detector has its own address, so the panel reports the exact room.
