Hikvision DS-3E0526P-E — a high-port-count unmanaged L2 switch with 24 gigabit PoE ports and a total power of 370 W for large-scale video surveillance systems. The device allows creating a single connection point for two dozen IP cameras and other PoE devices, significantly simplifying the network architecture. The RJ45 and SFP uplink ports provide flexible connection to the backbone infrastructure.

Advantages

  • 24 gigabit PoE ports for connecting a large number of IP cameras to one switch
  • A powerful PoE budget of 370 W provides power for the entire installation without additional power sources
  • Gigabit speed on all ports guarantees transmission of 4K video and multi-stream flows without delays
  • The RJ45 and SFP uplink ports give a choice between copper and fiber-optic connection to the network core
  • A fully unmanaged solution reduces deployment time and simplifies maintenance
  • Compatibility with the 802.3af/at standards guarantees operation with equipment from various manufacturers

Applications

  • Large retail and shopping-entertainment complexes with extensive monitoring zones
  • Production enterprises with a large number of protected zones
  • Hotel complexes, sanatoriums and tourist infrastructure facilities
  • Logistics centers, warehouses and transport-distribution hubs

Frequently asked questions

Is 370 W enough to power all 24 cameras?
When using standard dome or bullet IP cameras with consumption of 7–15 W — quite. For high-load PTZ cameras, we recommend calculating the total consumption in advance.
Does the switch support automatic switching to a backup uplink port?
No, the switch is unmanaged and has no automatic redundancy functions. Both uplink ports can work simultaneously for traffic aggregation.
Are there restrictions on the number of simultaneously active PoE ports?
There are no restrictions on the number of active ports — the only restriction is the total power of 370 W for all connected PoE devices.
