The Hikvision DS-3WRE3N Wi-Fi repeater plugs into a socket between the router and the weak-signal area and relays the signal further: a distant room, an upper floor or a corridor gains stable Wi-Fi without laying cable. Setup takes a minute — the WPS button or the web interface.

Frequently asked questions
Does speed drop when using a repeater?
Part of the bandwidth goes on relaying, so speed through a repeater is lower than at the router. For cameras and everyday work this is sufficient.
Where should the repeater be placed?
Roughly midway between the router and the problem area, where the signal is still solid. Placed at the weakest point, it will have nothing to relay.
Repeater or Mesh — which to choose?
A repeater is cheaper and solves a local problem. Mesh is better when you need seamless coverage of a whole house or office.
