cAP XL ac is the reinforced version of the cAP ceiling access point, with a larger coverage area thanks to stronger antennas.
An ordinary cAP is meant for a room or a small office. The XL takes on spaces that would otherwise need several units: an open hall, a warehouse, a retail floor, a conference room. One device instead of two or three means fewer cable runs and simpler management.
The form factor is unchanged: a flat white case that mounts on a ceiling or wall without drawing attention. PoE power, both 2.4 and 5 GHz bands at once, management through RouterOS or centrally when the network has several access points.
