The MikroTik hAP ac² (RBD52G-5HacD2HnD-TC) is a dual-band Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) router and access point in a compact desktop case. The device operates simultaneously in the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands and carries five gigabit RJ45 ports plus a USB port. It is one of the most popular MikroTik models: formally a home router, but with full RouterOS inside. For the price of a consumer device the user gets a tool with carrier-grade capabilities.
RouterOS unlocks what typical home routers lack: VPN (WireGuard, IPsec), a flexible firewall, VLANs, traffic queues and detailed statistics. The USB port serves a 4G modem as a backup link or an external drive. Five gigabit ports cover an apartment or a small office: computer, TV, video recorder, printer. The model is always in stock at our warehouse in Tashkent, and we can help configure it for a specific network.

Installation and setup
The router is placed closer to the center of the coverage area — on a shelf or desk, away from metal obstacles, so the 5 GHz band works at full strength. The ISP link goes into the first port; the remaining four serve wired devices. Basic configuration takes a few minutes with the Quick Set wizard, fine-tuning is done via WinBox or the web interface. For redundancy, a 4G modem is added to the USB port with automatic link failover. Combined with MikroTik switches and access points, the device fits into a single managed network.
