Description
This wall-mount fiber distribution box with 8 SC ports terminates distribution cables in building entrances, offices and technical rooms. The powder-coated steel body protects the splices from dust and accidental damage, while the screw-fastened cover prevents unauthorized opening. Inside there is a splice tray for laying out fusion splices and fiber slack, two sealed cable glands and a panel for 8 SC adapters.
The box is the transition point from the backbone cable to subscriber cords: fibers are fusion-spliced to pigtails, the splices are laid into the tray, and patch cords connect through the adapters on the panel. The format is popular in FTTB networks and video surveillance nodes, where a floor or node carries up to eight fibers. The compact body takes minimal space in a niche or a low-voltage cabinet; the box is in stock in Tashkent together with pigtails, adapters and patch cords.

Mounting and connection
The box is fixed to the wall at a height convenient for maintenance, away from heaters and spots where condensate collects. The cable enters through a gland, is secured, stripped, and a service loop of fiber is left in the tray. Fibers are fusion-spliced to pigtails whose polish type — UPC or APC — must match the adapters and patch cords of the line. Once the splices are laid, the cover is screwed shut and the ports are labeled according to the fiber log. The body is not intended for open outdoor use: sealed closures and outdoor boxes are used there instead.
