Description
The Pixietech category 6 patch cord (UTP, 4 pairs, RJ45), 0.5 m long, is a patching cord for linking a patch panel to a switch inside a structured cabling cabinet. Category 6 provides gigabit transmission with bandwidth up to 250 MHz; the wiring follows T568B and is compatible with any structured cabling system. The flexible stranded copper conductor survives frequent re-patching, and molded boots protect the connector latches from snapping off. Every cord is factory-terminated and tested, which rules out intermittent contacts in the link.
Half a meter is the standard length for patching between adjacent and nearby rack units: the cord does not sag, does not clutter the organizers and simplifies tracing during troubleshooting. In a CCTV cabinet such cords connect PoE switch ports to the patch panel from which the lines run to cameras and access points. Neat patching with short cords is the mark of a professionally built cabinet and saves time in maintenance. Patch cords of all common lengths and categories are stocked in our Tashkent warehouse, and we can calculate a set for your cabinet.

Mounting and connection
Choose cord length by the distance between rack units: 0.3 m is enough for adjacent units, 0.5 m for units two or three apart — extra length only clutters the organizer. Route the cords through horizontal and vertical organizers without sharp bends or tension; the latch must click into the port. Label both ends of each link — it speeds up tracing during re-patching. On PoE links the cord carries power together with data, no extra configuration needed. A typical set is a patch panel, an organizer, a switch — and a batch of 0.3–0.5 m cords for every port in use.
