CRS326-24G-2S+IN is a managed switch with 24 gigabit ports and two 10 Gbps SFP+ in a desktop case. This is the workhorse of an office network: connect a whole floor or department and take a ten-gigabit uplink to the core. Twenty-four ports is the size at which the unmanaged box from a shop runs out and a real network begins — one that has to be split into VLANs, rate-limited and observed. CRS326 does all of it: hardware switching at port speed plus full management. The unit runs SwOS for pure switching or RouterOS when routing, firewall and VPN are needed. The fanless case can sit in an office, not only in a server room.
