The TP-Link CPE220 Wi-Fi bridge works in the 2.4 GHz band, which gets around obstacles and foliage better than 5 GHz. The 65-degree beam width lets the device serve both as a bridge between buildings and as a sector access point covering a yard, a construction site or a car park. Passive PoE power, outdoor housing, mast bracket included.

When to choose 2.4 GHz and when 5 GHz?
2.4 GHz passes through foliage and light obstacles better, but the band is busier. 5 GHz gives speed and a clean channel with line of sight.
Is line of sight needed between the points?
It is always desirable. At 2.4 GHz partial obstacles are tolerable, but every obstruction reduces speed and stability.
How many cameras will such a bridge carry?
It depends on stream bitrate and distance. For a few cameras it is usually enough; we calculate for the specific task.
