The TP-Link CPE710 Wi-Fi bridge is the top model in the range: the 802.11ac standard raises channel speed to 867 Mbit/s, so the bridge carries not only office traffic but also the streams from dozens of CCTV cameras between blocks. The 23 dBi antenna and narrow radiation pattern keep the link stable over long spans and in interference.

Advantages

  • Up to 867 Mbit/s — headroom for video streams from dozens of cameras
  • The 802.11ac standard uses the airtime more efficiently than earlier generations
  • Up to 15 kilometers with line of sight
  • The narrow beam of the 23 dBi antenna reduces the effect of other networks
  • Passive PoE power and mounting with the included mast bracket

Applications

  • Carrying video between blocks of a plant
  • Links to remote warehouses and production areas
  • Connecting sites where laying fiber is impractical
  • A backup link between buildings

Frequently asked questions

How is the CPE710 better than the CPE610?
In speed: 867 Mbit/s against 300. If the channel carries video from a large number of cameras, the difference is decisive.
Will a bridge replace a fiber line?
For many tasks yes, especially when a trench is more expensive or impossible. Fiber is more reliable in bad weather and does not depend on the airwaves.
Does use of the band need to be approved?
The equipment works in an unlicensed band. For powerful directional systems check local requirements — we can advise.
